Can live for 40 years.  Low maintenance.  Deer do not like Birch.  Highly tolerant of urban pollution and will thrive in inner city environments.   Has higher resistance to bronze birch borer than other white-barked birches making this a preferred variety for home landscape use.  Often used when space limitations require trees of smaller stature.
