Green to yellow to purple.  Attractive 

unique bark.

Acorns 3/4 - 1 inch and often double

Green on top, bottom more white

Slow growing (1-2 feet per year).  Will tolerate wet/drought conditions.  Can live 300-500 years.  Natural habitat is quite wet in spring and drying out over summer.
