Erect pyramidal to rounded ornamental flowering tree (semi weeping)
Textured bark with craggy branches offers winter interest. Flowers are followed by masses of small, glossy red crabapples (to 1/2" diameter) turning dark red when cold and clinging throughout winter or until the birds eat them.
Attractive lawn or garden specimen. Great near patios.
Pale pink buds open to fragrant, single, showy white flowers in spring.
Green oval leaves turn scarlet in fall.
Attracts birds and butterflies. Tolerant to deer, rabbits and pollution.
