Bald Cypress

Our Bald Cypress are 8-10 feet tall, but they can reach a mature height of 70-150 feet tall and spread from 20-50 feet wide. Therefore we recommened a planting distance of 50 feet apart. They do well in Full Sun to Partial Shade.

The Bald Cypress is a Pyramidal, broad deciduous tree with Bright green feathery foliage. Their color changes to an Orange-Brown foliage in the fall.

This tree is an attractive shade, woodland or street tree and makes good view-block or screen for privacy. It has Cone-like fruit which is inconspicuous, presenting no litter problem.

Additional features of the Bald Cypress is its showy bark, oustanding ornamental form, fast growth, low maintenance and extremely long life. It can withstand lots of water but is also drought tolerant. In swampy lands, it produces shallow roots which rise to create cones called pneumatophores, commonly called "Cypress Knees" These do not usually form when planted on drier sites.

Blue Spruce

On the farm we have 4-5 foot Blue Spruce.  They will mature around 50 feet tall with a width of 15 feet.  We suggest planting 20 to 30 feet apart.

They do best in Full Sun.

The Brue Spruce is a conical shaped hardy evergreen which stays green in the winter.

It can be used as a privacy or view screen, wind-break, or accent tree.

The Blue Spruce produces cylindrical shaped, pale brown, scaly cones.  The needles are silvery blue and stiff.

This variety may grow 12 inches per year, although it may experience slow growth until fully established.

Canadian Cherry

Our Canadian Cherry trees are 8-10 feet tall and will reach 20 feet tall by 25 feet wide.

We suggest planting them 25 feet apart in Full Sun.

These trees have straight trunks and uniform tops. The new growth is green maturing to a maroon/red. Small white flowers in spring produce small, red fruits in the summer.
The bark is gray to light black and becomes very rough with age.

The Canada Red Cherry is attractive as an accent or border tree. The beautiful, delicate white flowers are on long stems in spring.

They grow fast and the birds love them.

Cleveland Pear

Currently we have Cleveland Pear trees that are 10-12 feet tall.

The will reach a height of 40 feet tall by 20-30 feet wide and should be planted 25-35 feet apart. Cleveland Pears do best in full sun.

They are a broad, oval deciduous tree and are more upright than a Bradford Pear. The leaves turns yellow, orange and red in fall.

Cleveland Pears are an attractive shade, specimen or street tree having a five-petaled, round-shaped white flower in the spring. The foliage is a rich green, shiny and wavy.

This variety is drought and heat tolerant. I has a good resistant to disease, city conditions and clay soil. Also resists damage from extreme snow, ice and wind.

Extremely superior to the Bradford Pear.

Cleveland Pear Select Clump - All of the specifications for the Cleveland Pear hold true for the clumping variety. However, the clumping variety is multi-stemmed.The tree form begins closer to the ground. This clumping variety makes an excellent screen, hedge or view-block.
